A report published by Juniper Research suggests that Fixed WiMAX could end up phasing out traditional DSL. Clearwire and Sprint come to terms for WiMAX rollout

Sprint and Clearwire are finally getting the ball rolling on their nationwide WiMAX plans. In the deal, Sprint is to merge it's wireless broadband division with Clearwire. The new entity will still operate under the name of Clearwire. Also, the new entity will remain under the control of the current Clearwire executives.
